I didn’t post yesterday and that bothers me but I just couldn’t get it together. I have lived in my head this week and probably over thinking a million things. Anyway I finished my grand daughters vest and began a pair of socks for her. Kids socks are more doable but I was following a pattern that turned into a foreign language when I reached the gusset. Very frustrating. So, rather than try to figure it out I am using my fall back gusset. Lost control of the pattern repeat and I don’t care. I figure the socks will be in her shoes right? She’s a clothing diva at five so I hope she doesn’t exam them too closely!

So this week I looked up juried craft shows (your crafts must be approved by a jury prior to you being given permission to sell. The buying audience expects to pay higher prices than many street fairs or flea markets) in my area and have made a commitment to myself that I will be at least sending slides of my work to several of these shows. If I am accepted, I will be selling my work at one of these shows. If not? I’ll keep trying. I don’t want to say what I intend to enter yet. Still working on that. I have lots of ideas! I am going to follow my creative mind this year.
