So this week my three part time jobs got in the way of my craft. Lol! I knit in between doing school work and going to class. So after six months my vest is pretty much finished. I have to finish embellishing and sew up the sides. I think I am going to put a ruffle around the sleeves. Then off to my grand girl. I really didn’t like using this yarn and I don’t have the patience to use dk weight yarn in a project as big as a sweater. Not even for a kid. I am so over this project I don’t know what to do.

I’ve grown however  and I was determined to finish and I will. This will be the first piece that I’ve made that needs to be gently blocked because the stockinette stitch really curled.  So this week I learned that I can adapt and make the best of something I don’t like and not feel that I failed at the project. So sweater became vest and I think it will be fine!
