Last week I talked about a dressy little sweater to knit for the holidays. With the yarn chosen for the pattern the sweater could be very expensive to make. Today I looked at a crocheted pattern for a dressy sweater with cheaper yarn but pretty results.
The pattern is in the newest issue of Crochet Magazine and is made with Premier Yarn’s Spangle in colorway Silver Celebration. The yarn is polyester with glitter and is 165 yards to a ball. Everywhere I looked the price is under $4.00 per and that makes the sweater by Doris Chan (page 20) is very affordable and the pattern goes up to a 3X.
Couldn’t copy the picture from the book but the magazine is a good investment with lots of nice patterns in it. Enjoy.
