When I was introduced to the concept of modular knitting I ran out and purchased the book Modular Knits. Might as well have be written in another language. After looking at the pretty pictures I attempted to knit from the book and guess what? O for Pete’s sake you know by now I was lost! So in my travels I read that if the concepts of modular knitting  were difficult to try to find a book called Wolly Thoughts – Unlock Your Creative Genius with Modular Knitting by Pat Ashforth and Steve Plummer. So many things became clearer and I absolutely love this book. I did buy it through Amazon but it was difficult to find. From what I can gather it was first published in London in 1994. At any rate I just went on-line and guess what? They have a website! The site is called simply Woolly Thoughts and has a wealth of information and patterns. So if you find this interesting visit the site and the book will be a welcomed addition to your library.
